The semblance of hammered copper highlights the Merola Tile Tetsu Ore Antique Copper 12 in. x 12 in. x 6 mm Porcelain Mosaic Tile. Defined by a sleek, medium-sheen textured glaze and a moderate variation in tone, this tile has the appearance of metal that reflects different varying hues of pinks and yellows when fluctuating light brushes over the copper surface. Natural distress and crackling is apparent on each chip, offering additional character and dimension. Every chip deviates from the other in color and texture because of its reactive glaze, ensuring that your installation will be unlike any other. For use indoors and out, it works well as a rugged field tile or cut into strips for floors and walls in kitchens, showers, bathrooms, and backsplashes.

great accent tiles
purchased for a design with a plain tile backsplash and love the design even though the hammered look looks more like rain drops like in picture above. it is a very accurate picture

A Little Pricey For What You GetThe actual color is darker than the image shown, too dark for my use, but still useful for some applications; definitely check a sample before you purchase a large quantity. The mesh holds the individual tiles fairly well, but is thin and the tiles "flop" easily so install can be a little tricky on vertical surfaces. I have nothing to contribute on wearability since I decided to go with another product due to color issues, but still think this is a higher margin product for designer mosaic tile, as it is manufactured rather than natural.

Great accent tileI LOVE this tile. I purchased some for my bathroom 2 years ago to jazz up some plain, white Octagon and Dot tile that was being installed. A sheet of this allowed me to create a customized look for way less than purchasing a metallic tile from the local tile & bath store. The color is a pretty copper tone with some dimples in the finish which makes it interesting to look at.
Some of the tiles were chipped upon receipt but I wasn't using the whole 12x12 sheet so I wasn't that concerned. It has held up well in the bathroom.
I have since used the leftover tiles as accents in my kitchen floor and backsplash and just came back to order 2 more sheets. Can't beat the look you can achieve for the price you pay... I recommend it :)

I returned the tile. It did not go with...I returned the tile. It did not go with the other tile I had hoped it would. My fault - nothing to do with your service.

Great looking tile!I really like the shades of copper in this mosaic sheet. There is also an irridescent sheen on some of the tiles that adds to the aged metallic look. I am using it as an accent tile in a shower surround, and the antique copper colors really "dress up" the terra cotta colored field tiles.

loved this tile when it arrived and even more now that it is installed. Wasn't sure about the colors until I saw it.this tile has a metallic finish and is very much what I expected. It looks great and gives a high end finish detail.
