I am a 70 year old female DIYer and have installed tile, laminate and now click vinyl plank. I just finished a 12x 14 room instillation took about 8 hours once I had the prep finished and got a good start. I would like to make a suggestion for those who do not have a straight wall to start on.
1. If your wall is not absolutely straight you will not be able to lock the planks together. ( I spent about 5 hours on the first three rows trying to get them to click. Then I figured out the problem and solved it.} Anker a temporary 2x4 to get started, laying down at least three rows. Once you have three rows locked you can remove the 2x4 and slide the floating rows into position against the wall with a space and you will be good to go.
2. The directions say to align the narrow ends first then lock in the long ends. This is true, but don't click the narrow ends into place until the long ends are well seated.
Good luck and happy flooring.
Oh yes, I love the floor and it looks beautiful. People who have seen it think it is real wood.
I will add to the post if I see any problems in the future.

We purchased roughtly 600sq ft to redo the main level in our house, thanks to a dog that doesn't always remember that the bathroom is outside, and a toddler who I am sure will spill everything in the coming years.
It was a debate between wood/laminate/and vinyl plank. Because real wood doesn't hold up well to water damage (seen this first hand) and laminate tends to swell thanks to water damage, this was the only good option left.
Others have said they had a hard time getting this in, but honestly I had an easier time of this then I did getting the Shaw plank installed in the bathroom. The trick, for me, was fitting the long side first, then turning it to a 45 degree angle, and sliding it into the corner of the prior plank. If that made sense. Then laying it down, tap the short seam with a mallet, and then using a block and mallet, watching the long seam disappear as I tapped it into place.
Between removing the nasty unknown age carpet, the toddler, putting down an underlayment for extra cushion, and cutting around closet door hardware; the 200ish sq ft front room took three days.
It has already survived a dog digging at it, the toddler spilling food/water/juice and the dog testing it out. I love the fact that the texture of this plant means scratches just blend in; although even taking a key to it I haven't scratched it yet.
I am very happy, and the look is that of authentic wood. We opened prob 6-8 boxes total for this room, and there's not a ton of repeat. At least not enough that I can spot them during my morning coffee. There are some, but that's to be expected, but def not as much as I would've expected considering I can spot three of the same knots in the 90ft Shaw bathroom upstairs.
I will be installing the rest in the house, once I have recovered enough to do so.

Looks great, if you live in a dry desert area however, I would not suggest it. Every footprint shows up because of the dust, I have had to steam mop the kitchen, living room, hallways and dining room every night. Also, DO NOT SLUDE ANYTHING HEAVY ON IT, moving our couches back out scratches all over the floor. I tried every remedy I could find online and ended up having to use multiple shades of sharpie marker to cover them. Draw over the line with sharpie and immediately wipe with a rag dampened with alcohol. Wasn't thrilled about laying down on the ground with a sharpie after being assured by the salesman that "it's impossible to scratch this stuff" so far with the dogs claws it hasn't scratched, but be warned and buy lots of adhesive felt pads.

This is a good product. Easy to assemble and very stable. Don't bother scoring with a knife and snapping off. If you have a chopsaw and a jigsaw with SHARP blades use them. Cuts without blowout or chipping with SHARP blades. Installed it in our remodeled bathroom about 4 months ago and is waterproof and stable. A bit spendy per sq. ft. but worth the investment for durability. I've installed the cheap lam flooring many times before and this by far exceeds the quality and durability of those products. We are doing the rest of the of the house as we can afford it for cash out of pocket.

Rating link does not work so I give it * Poor. : )The floor cover: Delivery ExcellentPackaging ExcellentInstallation ExcellentAppearance Good--a bit too shiny...has a plastic "look" that would be better served with less sheen.Durability Poor--A file drawer opened while I was moving it into place and it gashed the surface. Now I need to either repair or replace--too soft!.

Product was easy to assemble. The inserts were thin and not very deep, so time will tell if they hold together well. I used with a premium underlayment in bathroom. Has been water resistant with short term(hours) standing water from leaky valve. I would recommend for a lower cost alternative to linoleum.

Flooring itself was great super easy to install. Only 4 stars because it was special order from Home Depot. I ordered 10 boxes. 5 were the sawcut pacific I ordered and 5 were whitewashed oak. Backed my kitchen remodel up a couple weeks because there was no attention to detail on the order.
