I love how the floor turned out. I'm over 60 & did it myself in a few days. I wanted the slanted style. The color is great. The sticky is not forgiving so be careful. I've only had it done for a few weeks but seems to be holding up great with my dogs & cats. It will scuff lightly if you are pushing the fridge or stove around on it but only shows in a specific sunlight. I did return 1 full box I didn't need & that was no problem. They do not sell singly only by the box. When they say open more than 1 box at a time - do that because the colors do fluctuate. I had to use floor vinyl cutting shears because the knife wasn't working well. I'd 100% recommend this product.

We followed all the instructions for prepping, including letting the boxes rest and adjust to the room temperature for a couple of days, applying concrete patch where needed, sanding, thoroughly cleaning and rolling after installation. I had miscalculated the square footage and had to order additional boxes to finish. At first it looked great, then about six months later, I noticed a few planks starting to separate along the glue strips. It's been almost a year now and it is gradually getting worse. What is suspect is that it is only happening where the second batch was installed. Started from the left wall and now showing more areas running along the edge of the couch to the other side. Not sure what to do at this point. I'm looking to find a way to fix it without having to rip up the floor.

I owned this flooring for 6 years. It looked awful after just 3 years. Contacted Traffic Master at year 3 and did everything they recommended to fix and it didn’t work. At year 6 I couldn’t stand it anymore and filed a warranty claim with Traffic Master. They made me jump thru quite a few hoops to prove the flooring was defective and eventually denied my supposedly ‘Life Time Warranty’. Flooring was supposed to hold up to just about anything. My issue was just simple scuff marks that wouldn’t go away using Traffic Masters guidance and recommended remedies. I went through the trouble to send them samples of the damaged flooring and they even admitted the flooring was permanently damaged from scuff marks, but since their recommended methods to remove scuff marks didn’t work I must have abused it or did something wrong. Really??? My household consists of 2 senior adults and 2 yorkie dogs! Bottom line, DON’T buy this flooring.

Thrilled with my flooring - 14th room I've done myself!I love the way this flooring feels and looks and the ease of installation. This is the fourth color I've used (Alpine Elm. Others were Hamilton Oak, Sapelli Red, Golden Maple) All are beautiful.
Just need a yardstick (metal), 12 inch ruler (metal) a box cutter, a pencil and heavy duty Scissors.
There are some tricks I've learned along the way, but all in all, it's a fun project and looks like wood. I'm happy that I didn't have to spend 10K for hardwood floors - I think I spent about 1/4 the cost by using Allure. Easy to care for, too. I can use regular cleaners like 409. I've cleaned up a dog mess recently - no problem. I don't see significant scratching, either. Really, I'm a woman in my 60s and enjoy putting in these floors. Sometimes I do it all right away, sometimes I don't feel like finishing immediately, and it's fine to do a little bit over a few days. I only wish that HD stocked more colors so I didn't have to order and wait.

In my installation I had to make many cuts around cabinets, a curved transition from carpet, and angled walls. All of this in a 100 year old house (no square corners, etc.). With this product it is almost impossible to make a cut, test the fit, and do any corrections. Once it's stuck, it is stuck. It is very difficult to bring the pieces together so the seams don't have gaps, as well. The instructions say you can adjust for a few minutes after placing together, but that was not my experience.
If you are laying this floor on a perfectly flat subfloor in a room with straight cuts and square corners, I think it would be outstanding. However, if you're laying this down in an old house with a lot of "interesting" cuts to make, frustration awaits.
I ordered 18 cases. After laying down the first 2 cases and only having coverage of 1 1/2 cases, I returned the other 16 and exchanged it for click lock in a similar color/pattern. Much easier to work with in my situation.

I installed it in a small (35 sq. ft.) bathroom with several obstacles. Once I got the hang of it, it was easy to install. I even messed up a couple of times, and I was able to carefully pull them apart. When you score it, drag your knife across 3-4 times to make sure the cut is deep enough, then just snap it. There's a drain in my floor, so I just drilled a hole in the flooring using a hole saw, which worked well. I also purchased a transition strip from Allure, which worked well and was easy to install.
My only problem was that there were several boards in the box that were broken when I took them out. I was frustrated, but I knew I'd bought enough extra, and I didn't have time to re-order. Also, the GripStrips get dirty really easily, so make sure you keep them away from dust and debris!
It's only been in for a couple of days, but I'm excited to have it in for several years to come! It really finished off my bathroom nicely!

Make sure your pretty strong to score the boards because without a good score in them they don't come apart straight. Over all good product. Make sure you test the color you want though to make sure it is scratch resistant. Not all have the same resistance.

This is the third kind of this floors I have done (others are cherry wood and a now discontinued cork). Although this floor is brand new, the others I have been in for several years.
Pros- can get into tighter spaces without an awkward seam like sheet vinyl, fairly inexpensive, durable, easy to clean, easy to score and snap with utility blade, can be installed by beginner, water resistant (I have a small child and used this in the bathroom by the tub with great success)
Cons- glue strips can be prone to cracking on install (not sure if it's from shipping damage), need to make sure their are floor protectors on moving furniture like chairs since it can scratch (although no scratches of mine go through the laminate layer), be prepared to get up and down a lot during installation
