I wanted a rug that was reasonably priced because we have a cat who has been known to ruin rugs with his "scent." This rug was perfect. It's a shag rug that is reminiscent of the 1970s. Plenty thick but not particularly soft under foot. The taupe/tan shade was a good match for my room. I think this rug was a great value and I would recommend it if price is a big consideration for you.

The color was perfect and the shag was soft but...The color was perfect and the shag was soft but the shipping and packaging ruined the rug. This is a thick heavy rug. It was shipped FOLDED in half then rolled tightly and shrink wrapped. There are long hard ridges where the rug crinkled while folded. They are not coming out. Rug is ruined.

We absolutely love our new rug! The cherry-red color is...We absolutely love our new rug! The cherry-red color is exactly what we thought it would be... the softness, shag, everything is perfect. I love how soft it is and so do my dog. I would buy it again. The only problem is that some of the shag pieces have come out at the edge. I think it was just how it was cut and will stop soon.
