MSI Roman Beige Ledger Panel 6 in. x 24 in. Wall Tile is a Natural Stone Travertine with neutral tones. Strips of stone are stacked and glued together to form a 6 in. x 24 in. panel that is easy to install. The stepped pattern continues the natural randomness. This tile can easily be laid in a pattern or single layout and is suitable for residential and commercial installations. Note: Natural stone products inherently lack uniformity and are subject to variation in color, shade, finish etc. It is recommended to blend tiles from different boxes when installing. Natural stones may be characterized by dry seams and pits that are often filled. The filling can work its way out and it may be necessary to refill these voids as part of a normal maintenance procedure. All natural stone products should be sealed with a penetrating sealer. After installation, vendor disclaims any liabilities.

This is very pretty installed. It has a lot of quartz inclusions and voids that give it character...This is very pretty installed. It has a lot of quartz inclusions and voids that give it character and dimension. I opted to make my own corners by lapping the pieces together at 90 degrees, cutting off the excess. It looks OK. I did that because, when I bought these a couple of weeks ago, the corner pieces were prohibitively expensive. Now I see that they are offered at about 1/3% less. I probably would have bought the corner pieces at the current price and saved myself a lot of extra work. These flat tiles are a great bargain, however.
Here are some things to know: Each piece is less than a square foot. Not by much but the difference adds up as you go along, so keep that in mind as you plan your layout and materials list. I stacked a bunch of them up to get the actual height of the stack, instead of assuming they were actually 6" tall. Glad I did, since I had to install flat tile trim pieces first and I wanted the tops to all match up (I used this on my gas fire place and had to frame the glass with regular tile so that the screen would fit). Also, if you buy them in the store, open EVERY box before you leave the store. I had 25% breakage and had to shlep them back and get new ones, adding a lot of time to the job. And make sure you (or the loading guys) stack them ON EDGE - they break if you lay the boxes so that the tiles are flat. If you are ordering online and having them delivered, order at least 25% extra. Or maybe even 100% extra, since they are fragile and a lot will probably break in shipping. The stone cuts Ok but some of them are very hard - especially the ones with a lot of quartz, so have an extra tile saw blade on hand.
