This product doesn't look like the picture. It is very contemporary looking and looks more like a bright modern gold foil with glass. The picture shows it as having darker sections, or possibly distressed, but it does not look old world at all, and is a very bright gold.
It would be lovely for a contemporary look, but didn't work for my old world bathroom design.
