Very cool rug
The website description and pics don't do this rug justice. The yarns are grouped and tied together at regular intervals with a shiny silk thread, giving it amazing chunky texture. I love it!

Beautiful, Plush, Chunky, Modern RugI agree with the other reviewer, the pics do not do this rug justice. It has a thick texture which gives it a funky, modern, elegant appearance. The label says it's hand made in India, and the quality seems to be top notch. I laid it over a high quality rug pad, which provides some extra cushion and protection for my hardwood floors. I ordered it in white, and it's a nice, crisp, bright white which really makes my living room pop.
For the price I paid it's an excellent value. It easily compares to more expensive shag rugs from stores like Crate & Barrel - in fact I'd say it's even nicer.
