Time is also saved with the ease of installation because they simply glue-up to walls, ceilings or backsplashes and cut effortlessly with a scissors. Our panels are extremely durable and ready to install right out of the box, unlike tin ceiling tiles which need to be painted to prevent rusting, making these a perfect choice for your next DIY project. In addition to brass; copper, bronze, nickel and matte white are also available. Plus, you have the ability to paint our panels, giving you an individual touch that no one can recreate. Stylish Ceiling Tiles
These ceiling tiles look great when installed. They paint easily once installation is completed.
Each tile measures 24.5" x 48.5". This allows overlapping of each tile during the installation process. When installed correctly, the seams almost disappear and are completely hidden when painted. You will want to keep these measurements in mind for the first tile you are installing. After that, each covers a 24" x 48" area. When you have to do special cuts, make sure you test fit the cut piece before installing.
We started in the bathroom of our travel trailer with these tiles. The ceiling was cleaned and we used contact cement to install the tiles. No staples or other fasteners are required when using this method. Also, since no staples or nails are used, you don't have to go back and putty the fasteners. I recommend that you have some experience in using contact cement when choosing this installation method.
As you can see from the pictures, the ceiling tile looks high-end and classy.
Now, on to the rest of the ceiling!

Great looking ceiling. A bit of learning curve to install as ceiling tiles...
The end result was worth it. A bit of learning curve to get a method going, but once you do, they're easy enough to install. It would have been easier with a second set of hands. The manufacturers install video doesn't supply the info you need to use these as ceiling tiles. Their estimate on adhesive usage is way off as well. While they say you can get three tiles to a tube of adhesive, it's more like almost a full tube to a tile. (10 tile install took 9 tubes of adhesive - this was on a ceiling so I applied it accordingly) I used the recommended Loctite Power Grab adhesive and it worked great. Smoothed out nicely under the tiles. They cut better with a good scissors rather than a utility blade. Until you watch the video, you won't know that the tiles need to be staggered. My room was just under 8 x10, so it was a full in the middle with two cut pieces on either side and then two full pieces with just a bit of either end cut off, etc.

Absolutely beautiful
We refinished our cabinets with Rustoleum Cabinet Restore in Antique White purchased from Home Depot then needed to do something with our counters and backsplash. I decided to re-grout the tile countertops for the time being but wanted to give the old tile backsplash a new look. I had 40 feet of backsplash so used ten of these beautiful faux tin tiles in the copper finish. They look more like an oil rubbed bronze which was perfect. The outcome was astounding. It was easy to work with since I used a razor knife to cut the pieces to fit the measurements. The only things additional we needed was 5 corner pieces (or fittings) and 3 ends pieces. I used the double sided tape versus construction glue which really simplified the job without mess from the glue. When I finished my portion of the job my wife used the matching outlet cover material for the 8 outlets. We have regular visitors and they have been so impressed to ask me if I would be willing to redo their counters as well. I'm not a contractor just a DIYer. Anyone can easily upgrade their backsplashes, walls, and even ceilings in the many styles available. You will love the effect!

This Faux Tin Tile Ceiling Completes Our Farmhouse Kitchen!
I've wanted to cover our 1970's swirled kitchen ceiling with genuine, white tin tiles but they are pricy.
I came across these faux tin tiles and wanted to give them a try. But I was concerned it was too rough to glue them directly onto the ceiling. So I contacted the company directly and was told it wasn't. Yippee!
I ordered the tiles and they arrived safely with no damage from shipping. I did purchase extra tiles and the recommended adhesive.
My husband and I took our time and completed the project over two weekends. They were easy to cut and fairly easy to install.
I couldn't be happier with the results!!! With the additional tiles, we plan to put them on the powder room ceiling off the kitchen!

COVERS UP AN UGLY POPCORN CEILING EASILY!
I have popcorn ceilings in my 20 year old house, and I particularly dislike the ceiling in the hall which has been patched a few times. I had considered putting in the time and effort to scrape off the popcorn, but was flinching at the prospect. Then I saw these ceiling panels!
I ordered just one of these panels initially because I wanted to see what kind of quality it was before ordering enough to cover my hall ceiling. I had some reservations, knowing it was plastic, but my concerns were totally unfounded. This is really a good looking product!
The panels are 2 feet by 4 feet and very light weight. In fact, each panel weighs less than a pound. The imprinted design is very pleasant and does indeed mimic the old-style tin ceilings, although it doesn't have an "old fashioned" look. My house is quite modern but this will still work with the décor.
What I liked most is the very clear installation instructions -- all you do is apply a quarter inch bead of Loctite adhesive around the outside of the panel, and a cross pattern in the left, center and right of the panel. Nothing around the edge where the panels will overlap. Then just press onto the ceiling. The directions even told me that if I was adhering the panel over a popcorn ceiling -- and I am! -- to make sure to knock off the low hanging pieces and the glue will then create a leveling effect for the rest! What's not to love about that?
I am thrilled with this solution to covering up my ugly popcorn hall ceiling and will now measure and order the remaining panels that I need to complete this job.

This looks like tin but is much easier to work with!
This product really looks like it is made of copper tin. I used it on a backsplash. It is simple to cut with scissors. Each sheet has 8 repeats of the 12" pattern. To do the backsplash I had to cut it to fit. In order to join two together you just overlap to connect them so that there is no seam showing. Since this is a product that is not metal, it won't rust or tarnish. Installation was easy with contact cement for tiles. I put the cement on the substrate first and then put up my copper tile pieces. Just press in place and it dramatically changes the décor. I used copper, but it also comes in other colors and is paintable.

Faux Tin Backsplash Looks Real
When the Dimensions Faux Tin Style Wall Tile is hanging up it looks so real that the only thing you notice is the beautiful detailing. It coordinates well in the kitchen with black and stainless steel appliances. Installation is a breeze with Loctite Adhesive and no fuss whatsoever. I love it. The large sized panel was cut down to size with regular scissors, then I used that scrap piece for added bling on the side of the stove. Their easy alignment system is simply matching the round grooves together, and voila, perfectly straight.
