When I first saw this I thought chair rail. I ordered one piece to make sure I would like it & th...When I first saw this I thought chair rail. I ordered one piece to make sure I would like it & that it would color match my project. The sample arrived yesterday. Right out of the box it was cracked in two. I also noticed that the front is beautifully polished but the exposed top edge [which will be seen if used as a chair rail] is dull & unpolished. I can remedy this by adding a tile enhancer to the top edge with will improve the dull color. I still like the tile enough to go ahead with my purchase but I am going to open the boxes right there at the check out counter to make sure what I actually receive is not broken.
