Perfect for temporary backsplash
I LOVE this product. I've already recommended it to several friends. My husband and I live in an apartment with plaster walls and no backsplash. I was tired of scrubbing the walls and having it still be dirty, so we put these up behind the stove and they look beautiful - like they came with the apartment.
We live in an apartment with a lot of character, and the ring design really helped us live up to what was already in our apartment.
We chose not to use the adhesives that are recommended, because we wanted removal to be as easy as possible but didn't want to worry about the panels falling down (which I read is a problem with the foam). So, we bought the brushed chrome finish and just staple gunned them into the wall - it will leave a small hole and the panels will pop right out when we need them to.
It really worked great for us. If you want to see pictures, you can Google Newly New Yorkers temporary backsplash - there you'll find some pictures that we put up of our project. I'd put up the URL, but that's a no no on this site, evidently.
Overall, great product.

I loved the pattern of this back splash and the antique bronze color! It added a focal point between the stove and the hood range.I didn't want to use any more stainless steel like the appliances, ( they do carry this in stainless steel color also). Even though my measurement skills aren't the best and the walls aren't squared, using this in a old mobile home made the area stand out and gave some color to the kitchen.

LOVE THIS BACKSPLASH!
I needed something to cover my existing tile backsplash, which I no longer liked, and didn't want to remove the tile first as it would likely ruin the drywall behind it. I ordered several sheets in the rings design, (all in different colors) so I could decide what color looked best in my kitchen. Shipping was free to my home and I returned the colors that didn't work to my local store. I loved the look of these panels but was apprehensive about putting them on the walls. Finally I decided to go for it. I ordered 16 sheets in brushed nickel and called my brother (a professional contractor) to help my husband with the installation. If you have a large space to cover I recommend having it professionally installed. We had lots of places where the panels had to be cut around things, like window sills, moldings, etc., and we probably would have ruined a few sheets had my brother not been here to help. The finished product is absolutely beautiful and I couldn't be happier with it! I didn't want to leave a review until my backsplash had been up for a while so that I could comment on it's wear and durability. My backsplash has been up for exactly one year as I write this review. I'm happy to report that this product is extremely durable and looks exactly as it did a year ago when first installed. I use my kitchen A LOT and so I end up wiping the backsplash often, both behind my cooktop where food splatters and behind my sink where water collects. I always use a soft, warm dish cloth and have not had a single scratch on the panels. That said, DO NOT use any sort of abrasive sponges or cloths. Also, warm water (and maybe a little liquid dish soap) is all you ever need to use on it. Do not use any chemicals or cleaning fluids other than mild dish soap. It really is super easy to care for and everything wipes off with little to no effort. I am so happy I decided to use this product! See my attached pics of the cooktop area and kitchen desk. Good luck!

pretty but tricky
Overall, I like how this product looks in my kitchen. However, I was surprised at how easily the surface scratches and how much these scratches stick out on this particular color and pattern combo. Also, because of the way the pattern is cut, the seams where two panels meet are impossible to fully align. My neighbor had a much easier time aligning his silver Fasade panels and I think the silver color hides scratches/wear better. Still, I love this pattern and do not regret installing it in my kitchen.

Beautiful finished product
This product seems a little pricey, but it does appear to be quality material and is extremely easy to cut an install. I am a contractor and we usually use ceramic tile for our backsplash over granite, so I was a little skeptical paying so much for a sheet of plastic. We used the recommended adhesive (not tape), and after installation, the product was very solid. The finished product looks like authentic pressed tin. Would like to use it again.

Nice looking backsplash, not a lot of work.
I read other reviews on this product and decided to use silicon adhesive. This made it easy to get the panels positioned just right. Others have mentioned that you do see the edges of the panels, where they overlap the previous panel. Yes, if you are up close you will see the edge. But what you are going for with these panels is the overall effect of looking like a tin backsplash, and you get that. It looks very nice. Make sure to use the edge trim for any exposed edges to give a more polished look.

We are happy campers
This product perfectly served our need and was easy to use. It looks very beautiful on the walls.
However, the panels should be ruled on the back to make precise cutting easier. As it is now, it is difficult to draw a line for cutting and some of our cuts did not come out as neatly as we would have liked.

Overall the product gave me the look I wanted
The Brushed Nickel Decorative Wall Tile I used was to give the look of old tin tiles and it worked for what I needed. I would guess this would product would work very well for a wall or ceiling. The only difficulty I had was because the plastic isn't as stiff and I was using it to create a back to a shelf that was not yet hung.
