Reminiscent of mineralized geodes, the Merola Tile Resort Storm Black 12 in. x 12 in. x 5 mm Porcelain Mosaic Tile features varying markings throughout each chip. Giving the impression of black, framed within shades of deep midnight blue, a deep navy base glaze has slate blue striations casually flowing throughout each chip, creating the look of geodes. An illusion of additional depth and dimension is created by a smooth and sleek glossy glaze that tests your senses. Constructed of porcelain, this mosaic is best for walls or light traffic floors in indoor and outdoor settings, including showers, powder room floors, and backsplashes.

Not true blackIf you are looking for dark, true black tile, this is not it. It's nice tile, but it's really a dark navy blue.

I like this tileI bought this tile to use on a fireplace hearth. I like the design on the tiles, and they were a good size for my project. The tile man liked them too.
