I used this gorgeous tile as a backsplash in my kitchen over a year ago, and LOVE IT, I have recieved numerous compliments that it looks very expensive. It is quite thin, I'd say 1/8" thick. However our contractor installed it without any problems at all. He did watch a short dyi video because he had never installed this type of tile before but that was it...basically use fine tooth trowel, with very small amounts of adhesive, so as it does not ooze up very much between tiles where the grout will go. It would be very wise to use a light color grout that is very close/matches the color of the adhesive so that any adhesive that does get through won't show as it will just look like the grout. Use unsanded grout because it won't scratch the tile as you wipe off excess. Seriously I would do this job myself next time, it is not nearly as difficult as other people make it sound. As for durability, mine is as beautiful today as the day it was installed in my well used kitchen. Guess I'm just saying don't be afraid to try it (unless you have OCD ;) you will be very glad you did as it is beautiful!!!!

Thin as frog hair!
This glass is truly beautiful, but please be aware of the thickness. The descriptions call this .33" or 5/16" thick. NOT EVEN CLOSE... it is 1/16" thick (at best), making it very difficult to install!! Your extra installation effort (or money) will be rewarded, however. This glass is gorgeous! It looks just like mother of pearl. I recommended it and rated this at four stars because of finished appearance alone. It is quite pricey and VERY difficult to install.

Ordered this sample as 1 of 3 to decide on backsplash. It's beautiful which you can't tell in the picture. However too light for my usage.

Amazing!
I love the colors of this backsplash sample. I am hoping to use it but the price point is higher than I have budgeted. I have only orded sample so far, but it is gorgous.

Beautiful tile! Very expensive...
This is a beautiful mosaic. Definitely not suited for floor installation as indicated on the description. Price is a expensive too - they're pretty proud of it. Gave it three stars because of the price.

IS THE TILE TO THIN FOR USE AS A BACK SPLASH IN KITCHEN?
