Designed for wall use, this onyx tile is certified by the Marble Institute of America.

great appearance and good value. breaks easily during installation. Availability is disastrous.
the product looks beautiful. The downside is availability and shipping. I had to order it two times because they shipped the wrong item with the correct shipping paper work. Because it breaks easily I needed a few extra pieces and now it is out of order. No information available if the product will be restocked or not.

As this is a natural stone, the color varies. It is onyx and a crystal, thus fragile. The pieces are sometimes filled with epoxy in places. This "dome tile" (pencil tile, border tile) has a 1/8" metal rod embedded in it for stability. If you plan to cut it, order extra, in case. Also, I would recommend that you order 2 to 3 times what you need to cover for breakage and color matching, as with any natural, real stone.
