For the money, this is a pretty good tile border piece. Pieces are "reasonably" uniform in size and color. I didn't notice at first that both these borders and the field tile, that is, the 6 x 6 you would use with these borders have built in offsets in the unglazed (bisque) portion to create an automatic 1/16th inch spacing. That works pretty well butou might still have to do a bit of twisting to get uniform spacing since they tiles are not "rectified" to an exact dimension. It may not be a big deal for a pro tile installer but this is a DIY skill for me and not something I do all the time. The other issue I had was with availability. Almost every job I can imagine would need a border tile like this to cover the raw (bisque/unglazed) edges of the field tile at some point unless it were a wall-to-wall and floor-to ceiling job. I had to check 3 Home Depot stores to find these in my large metro area. A bit better inventory control here might be in order.
