Plush Rug - Colors Darker Than Shown
This rug is very plush with a thick, wool pile and there is no evidence of shedding. Although I had to bend one end back after initially unrolling the rug, the rug laid flat immediately with no recurrence of edges lifting. The mocha and gray are darker than they appear in the picture on the website and the border between the mocha and gray is a mossy green. The shades also did not match the smaller 5'x8' rug of the same design which were lighter. The construction is solid, but the borders and decoration are slightly uneven, as would be expected for a hand-tufted rug. Definitely buy a thin rug pad as there is no backing on the rug.
