I used the tape to secure the shower door sweep...
I used the tape to secure the shower door sweep (along with screws). After making the installation I let it bond for about 12 hours then, when I attached it I used silicone on the top edge to keep the water out. It seemed to work very well. Hopefully it will last. We'll see.

I used the double sided tape for a antique bronze fascade tile backsplash. A PVC decorative panel. It worked well,because I could put in place and move a little without it being permanently affixed.

I have used the old adhesive tape that Home Depot use to carry. I had trouble with the backsplash staying on the wall. I picked this tape us to do a different wall on the other side of the galley kitchen. I found this to be more flexible with much more adhesive power. It was able to create a stranger bond because of the makeup of the tape material.
I have not had any issues with the backsplash staying in place.
