I really love this product My only complaint is that you guys needs to either except the leftover planks or sell them by the piece.. because I paid almost $80 because I needed only 1 pc out of the box.. and they were only available online..I was very unhappy about that.

They would not let me install tile or wood flooring in the condo. Even vinyl had to high of sound transmission. Found this Home Legend, 6mm with 1.5mm foam pad, met all my requirements for the condo. I bought this Long View Pine and it's beautiful. I see another person complaining about scratching, no way have I had any. Look at her picture, it's not the same color as this one.? Anyway I installed it myself(800 sqft) in about 3 weekends. My house has a lot of angles. I do get some joint separation, but it moves right back. I live in Florida near the ocean, humidity goes up and down a lot. I drag chairs on it have dogs that run and slide on it not a scratch. Also buy knee pads. I love the old driftwood look, goes with my Cape cod type kitchens. It's water proof too.

I had an imperfect floor and it handled the imperfections well, even now a few months later. My cats have done their best to destroy it but it remains flawless. Floor is surprisingly quiet and warm and everyone who sees it comments on how nice it looks. Four stars because installation was worse than I anticipated- much, much worse. I can't imagine even attempting a DIY installation using a plank of lower quality. If you're doing this yourself for the first time, I recommend buying the thickest planks you can. These are good ones- if I was going to purchase again, I would go out of my way to buy Home Legend.

Installation was a bit difficult because of the thickness of the backing. This required more scoring and made snapping in more difficult but still worth it.
