The Merola Tile Crackle Square Azure Mix 11-5/8 in. x 11-5/8 in. x 8 mm Ceramic and Glass Mosaic Tile features a deep, crackled-glass effect in shades of blue that produce rich color and sparkle. This tile looks great on its own or it makes a beautiful focal point when combined with other tiles. Cut it into strips for an accent or use it as a field tile. It is necessary that you seal this tile before grouting to prevent the absorption of staining agents over time.

Beautiful Tiles
I was looking for crackle glass that wasn't shades of tan or brown. These are very pretty and I used them to accent my mostly white tile design. The crackle glass doesn't cut very smoothly since it leaves ragged edges. The edges of the squares where the glass is a very thin coat on the ceramic is delicate and we managed to chip a few of them. Plan to only have cut edges where it will be hidden by caulk (at corners) since grout will show the chips. These shipped perfectly with no breakage. Some of the squares had flecks of the other colors in them (like a black chip on a white tile). If you cut the sheets in one direction they have a nice pattern, and if you cut them the other way, they are very repetitive (i.e. whole rows of black and white).
I used these in a niche and the bottom of the shelf will likely hold a good amount of water in each little concave tile face.
