I like a larger, colorful rug to catch spills as I'm washing dishes and loading dishwasher. This is PERFECT! The colors camouflage anything spilled and I can reverse it if necessary (pattern is the same on reverse side which is a bonus). Due to the woven jute, there are "nubs" in this pattern that you feel if you walk on it barefoot (but that feels good to me, kinda therapeutic). I know this will wear well as I've had jute rugs before and this one has what appears to be "blue jean-like" fabric in various shades woven in with the jute as well. I like the casual look of this rug and it will last a very long time.

I'd seen a smaller version of this rug, so knew what to expect when I ordered the 6X9. It's a tad...I'd seen a smaller version of this rug, so knew what to expect when I ordered the 6X9. It's a tad darker than the picture and it's not 100% jute as the description says - all the different shades of blue are actually strips of denim, so it's really a mix between a jute rug and rag rug, which is quite unique and makes it all the more desirable. I ordered mine just after midnight yesterday and it came at 3pm today - great service!
