The quality is excellent and it’s a super buy! The Charcoal looks more brown than charcoal.

Nice surprize
This rug is much better in person. When it arrived it was rolled so the bottom of the rug showed outside. There are white "strings" holding it together which looked horrible. I was tempted not to even take it out of the wrapping. Very happy I did. The top side of the rug is very nice. The braids are very thick as is the rug. Its delightful to walk on. Our pets seem to like as well. So far its been a breeze to clean. I do like that the style is different yet very plush. I may get another. This is not your grandmothers braided rug (not that there is anything wrong with those).

Love this rug
Just recieved my rug and I love it. So soft and plush and the color is perfect. It is a handmade rug so there are imperfections, but nothing major and is to be expected. It does require a nonslip rug pad because there’s no backing.

Cool unique rug, but color issue
In response to other reviews, I agree that when the rug first arrived it looked strange from the underside and like the weave was too loose. But upon laying it down it has that unique braided texture and is beautiful. It is definitely wool despite one reviewer's doubt. My complaint with it is that despite viewing the product page on several different monitors, the color is much different than I expected. I ordered the charcoal but it looks like the gray color in person. The label says charcoal so I guess the correct one was shipped, but it is much lighter than what I wanted and expected.

was a bit disappointed by the rough edges/finish… we may return it and roll the dice to see if we get a better one… but, HD had a better selection than anyone else we could find.

Nice Rug
This rug is a great option for a bedroom or bathroom as it is very soft underfoot. However, I thought to use it in an entryway, and it's not suitable for that. The weave/braid is loose and too soft for that much abuse. I did keep, though, and have it in a bedroom and, like I said, great there! The color is heathered and pretty. Only bad note...one of the loops came loose within a day. I've repaired it, and it hasn't happened on any other spots.

Canyon rug
Love, love , love this rug. Chunky, thick braids. Subtle variations in color create depth. Soft, plush underfoot even without rug pad which comes tomorrow. I looked high and low for a more affordable alternative to a very similar rug I saw at RH. This is it! Couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Stylishly rugged and incredible underfoot
I was a little surprised by the girth and height of the pile when I peeked into the top of the wrapper and nearly returned it without opening. Then decided to give it a chance and am so glad I did. It is amazing! Contemporary, rugged, and incredible to walk across, take a nap on, wrestle on, ect!!
