While the quality of the rug is good, the colors are much much darker than shown in picture. If your color scheme is dark brown or you do not require a lighter rug, then this is the rug for you. Personally, I returned it as I wanted a lighter look.

not for an exposed patioThis rug was beautiful and soft underfoot but it takes days to dry out. You can't walk on it for days after any rain because it soaks up water like a sponge and holds onto it. The rubber backing doesn't allow any water to drain through or dry. Even with a thick outdoor rug pad underneath. Walking on this days after rain and your feet are soaked, enough that it still puddles around your foot and will soak through socks.
It also faded after one season on a patio that only saw a few hours of afternoon sun. The rug was vibrant and beautiful when we got it but now the orange-red is more of a pink and the blue looks washed out.
This might work for an indoor sun room or a covered porch but I would not recommend this be used anywhere it will be exposed to any elements. We are looking for a new rug that will dry out so we can actually walk on our patio.
