I can't believe this rug has so many good reviews, unless people rate their purchases the first day they get them.
It is a beautiful rug, but it started shedding as soon as we put it on the floor. I was really patient with it, thinking that light shedding should be expected. The first time I vacuumed the rug, it almost broke my vacuum cleaner with all the stuff that came out of it (see picture). And I STILL didn't give up on it, but it just kept shedding more and more. I had to vacuum the floor around it every day and every time I dared to vacuum the rug itself, it filled my vacuum cleaner up in seconds. Finally, after two weeks, I took it back to a local Home Depot. The good news is that the return was quick and easy.

really pretty patter that i was super excited about but...really pretty patter that i was super excited about but the carpet sheds tremendously! I was hoping it would stop so did not return it in time. there was stuff everywhere!

I purchased this rug about a month ago. It had good reviews and the colors were just what I need...I purchased this rug about a month ago. It had good reviews and the colors were just what I needed. Soft and subtle and very classic looking. I was a little worried about comments that had been made by several people about the rug shedding fibers a bit. I have not found this to be the case at all! I was also very surprised to see that this rug was 100% wool. It is nice and tightly woven and thick. I am amazed at the reasonable price for such good quality. I liked the rug so much, in fact, that I bought a second one! I highly recommend this rug!
