It has a subtle crackle appearance within the glaze, with a smooth and glossy surface. Pair this trim tile with their coordinating wall tile series. It is necessary that you seal this tile before grouting to prevent the absorption of staining agents over time.

I am giving this beautiful, substantial trim piece only one star because it is NOT white -- it is absolutely grey. So maybe the tile should get five stars and the description one star.
It's only tile, but I am disappointed because I love the more handmade look / feel of the trim, but my other (handmade) tile is white, described as white, in reality white, not grey like this trim, so won't work for me.
