Pergo XP Toffee Hickory is a classic design with soft golden undertones that provide a warm, neutral vibrancy. This 2-strip product has a semi-gloss, authentic texture that highlights the wood grain while giving a clean, smooth look and feel that is comparable to genuine hickory flooring. Toffee Hickory offers a superior finish; premium attached underlayment and PermaMax surface protection for double the wear and double the durability of ordinary laminates. ScratchGuard Advanced provides superior scratch and scuff protection. After all, there’s only one Pergo. Pergo XP products are rated AC4, approved for general commercial traffic, yet suitable for your home, and have been tested for resistance to abrasion, impact, staining and cigarette burns. Each plank is 8 mm thick with a 2 mm attached underlayment. The 7-1/2 in. wide plank and patented click joint make installation quick and easy, providing a secure fit. The limited lifetime residential and 5-year light commercial warranty guarantees the top layer against wear through, staining or fading. Wear claim compared to standard AC3 laminate flooring and measured in accordance with NALFA/ANSI LF-01-2011 and/or EN13329:2006+A1:2008. California 93120 Phase 2 Compliant for Formaldehyde.

One of the packages of Pergo laminate came damaged. The systematic way to install the flooring should be better explained as to how hard you need to tap or pound the sections into place. And what you should do when a edge gets frayed and effects the gap between sections. Ray

I really struggled with the install for the first day. I did a quick search on the install proces...I really struggled with the install for the first day. I did a quick search on the install process from the Pergo site and it looked extremely easy. Not so fast. It would not click together, there were places in the floor that did not lock together, it wasn't working. I had even purchased the install kit and whenever I tried to use it, the pieces barely clicked together and they would chip at the edges where I had to pound. More online videos later, I found numerous tricks that I put all together. 1st, I used a regular hammer as opposed to a rubber mallet. 2nd, I used a scrap piece of floor to mate up with the one I needed to pound. This way, the scrap piece gets chipped instead of the good piece I was laying. 3rd, I found it easiest to click in the long side, and then pound in the short side. All the while standing on the piece I was pounding in. Ultimately it worked much better and the floor came out great. The look is exactly perfect for what I needed. I would recommend this floor for the looks. The install is rough, but once you get the hang of it, it installs fine.

I did not install it myself, but I watched the installer and he commented that it was such an eas...I did not install it myself, but I watched the installer and he commented that it was such an easy job. I love the way it made my living room and dinning area look. I am 88 years old so the best part is how easy it is to maintain. A damp mop, plain water just once a week to pick up the dust.
