great deal, but took forever to arrive
This jute rug is a great purchase. It is quite soft esp for jute. The wool mix feel really nice, and seems to give it a little more durability.
I ordered the natural color and the color is more yellowish/beige. I was expecting it to be a little more off-white and washed-out looking. It's ok and still works for my room, it's not perfect, but what can you do when ordering without a swatch?
Overall I'm happy with the purchase, as it was a great deal compared to any other rugs I found online. I was concerned the quality would be lower due to the lower price, but this is not the case.
My main complaint was that after I placed the order, I got an email later saying it was not in stock. I got a couple more emails about delays and I think it took about three months to get this rug. I patiently waiting only because of the price, and the rug was not needed urgently. Despite this annoyance, I would consider ordering from Home Decorators again.

One year later...I reviewed this rug a year ago right after I got it and gave 5 stars... I am now shopping for a new rug. This rug SHEDS... I have vacuumed up several sheep worth of wool, clogging and ruining the motor of one very expensive vacuum. I find cotton ball sized dust bunnies from this rug all over my house. The weave is very loose, so the wool comes right off. Also, if you have a dog this rug is not for you. My dog plays and runs across this rug and his nails catch the loops and pull them, so the rug looks terrible. Between its shabby appearance and my irritation with all the loose fuzz, this rug has to go! I thought it would last much longer and be more durable, but I do appreciate the natural fiber, and it is soft under foot.

Borders didn't matchI ordered the rug in three different sizes for my open kitchen, dinning room, and great room. All three had completely different color bindings. There was no way I could use them because they could be seen from each space. Very disappointed but customer service was very accommodating with the returns.

Love the overall appearance of this rug.This is a beautiful rug, love that there is some wool in it which makes it softer to the touch, unlike most seagrass or other natural fiber rugs. Although it shedds like crazy, balling up big wadds of fibers. I am hoping this is only temporary.
