Great floor
So far so good. Had in the house for about a week. Looks great. It is water proof. It was a little tricky to get the first couple of rows started. Asked 4 guys to help the next day and busted out 300+ sq ft in 3 hours. Use a cut off section that you're not gunna use again, and a hammer or mallet to hit the boards together. They do "click & lock" but the extra pound helps them stay together better and not pop apart when adding new pieces. I found that it was easiest to add the next piece by connecting the long side then tapping from the bottom to get the top edge into place. This also prevented the pieces from popping out. We worked in teams of two. If you have a table saw, it's great for cutting straight edges. If not get a level or a good straight edge and score and score and score, then break off your cuts. I am planning on putting this in our upstairs, but I will pay someone for the install next time. I don't want to mess with hallways and doors.

On about every third plank there is a 3 inch round circle that we meant to look like it was part ...On about every third plank there is a 3 inch round circle that we meant to look like it was part of the natural wood. The result is that it looks like you spilled coffee and didn't mop it up. I love the planks, they are durable and won't scratch but I am returning them and looking for a new product because I can't stand having circles that look like I didn't clean my floor.

I was so excited to get this flooring, and the actual planks themselves are beautiful, just what ...I was so excited to get this flooring, and the actual planks themselves are beautiful, just what I wanted, but the product itself is lousy. We struggled with the installation, the click-lock just pops right out over and over and the edges bent easily, ruining that piece. We resorted to having our kids stand on the previous piece while we added the next only to go a few more rows and have the previous ones pop out. Now my floor has gaps where the click lock came apart and we are thinking of scrapping the whole thing. I wish I went with a different product.

This planking is very well made and looks really good!...This planking is very well made and looks really good! Installation is a little tricky, but once you learn how to properly "set" in the pieces, it goes rather well. (You have to connect an entire row together first and then "set" it into the previous row). Instructions say to mount the width of one piece into the previous piece and then work in the length, piece by piece. This is not possible, as the pieces are not that flexible. It might work for a flimsier plank but not this top of the line "SyncoreX". I am really happy with the look and richness of the product!

Very thick and durable material, easy to install. Takes time...Very thick and durable material, easy to install. Takes time and effort but anyone can do it.
My one complaint is, because I bought this online I was not exactly sure what it looked like. The color is very nice red brown, but the pattern is not the fanciest. It is very repetitive.

I opened the first one and saw that they are extremely wavy. It's obvious to the naked eye and can be seen in the images. They are so warped that they cannot assemble. Additionally some of the locking features are broken. These are unusable. I have returned them to Home Depot.

You need to raise up the next plank to lock it into the first plank. Put a weight in the middle of the first plank to keep it from raising too much. If you find yourself needing to hammer them together, you are not doing it right. Light tapping with a hammer is all that is required. Occasionally you will need to cut off some of the locking section to fit it into a corner or small space. When you cut off a plank, save the remainder for the other side of the room and you will have very little waste. I laid 1100 sq ft in four rooms and three closets and it looks beautiful. It is very durable. I highly recommend this product.
