Information of this product indicated it would hold rugs on carpet but not the case! Won't reco...Information of this product indicated it would hold rugs on carpet but not the case! Won't recommend to anyone using this product to securely prevent movement of runners on carpeting.

Works perfectly with the rug we purchased from Home Depot....Works perfectly with the rug we purchased from Home Depot. Didn't have to trim it to fit, and it keeps our rug in place. So glad I could order this with the rug.

Does what a non-slip rug pad should do.This rug pad was what we expected and a decent price. We were putting it under a rather heavy, plush rug, so the purpose was to keep the rug from slipping more than to add cushion. It does a nice job of keeping the rug in place We did have to trim about 4 inches off the length but it was easy to do with scissors. Not sure how non-slip it would be with a very lightweight rug.

GOOD RUG PADThe non-slip surface rug pad is easy to trim.I only had to cut off a small amount of the pad at two corners to prevent it from showing under the rug.I am using it under a 4x6 rug on top of carpeting. It does a better job of keeping the rug from slipping than my previous pad plus it provides extra cushioning.I actually don't know if it is supposed to be used on carpeting from the description provided but I am happy with it.
