The Merola Tile Tessera Piano Tundra 11-3/4 in. x 11-7/8 in. x 8 mm Glass and Stone Mosaic Tile is a cool-toned mosaic that features a fascinating mix of glass and stone textures. Smooth glass, textured glass and tumbled natural stone mix beautifully to create a multi-dimensional effect. The piano-style format of the tile lends an air of sophistication. The multi colored stones create an interesting backdrop for any decor. As this mosaic contains natural stone, colors will vary from tile to tile. This mesh mounted mosaic can be cut into strips to use as an accent to other tiles. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor wall use only.

Makes a beautiful backsplash and complements most colors
We labored over accent mosaics for our vanity backsplash for weeks. We had already picked out a mosaic subway in an ice blue glass but the rest of our project was dark espresso brown, lighter brown granite with blue veining and bronze fixtures. We were looking for something to tie it all together. These tiles do the trick with every shade of brown, some of the ice blue glass tiles and some "glitter" in the stones. They were surprisingly easy to cut, both the stone and the glass and when we decided to cut them into strips to make them easier to apply in a small area, they still had enough variation within each strip ( both color and size ) to make it seem like we'd put up whole sheets. This kept our cutting down to a minimum. We love them and they put the final touch on bringing our bathroom out of the 1980's. As a matter of fact, when we do the next part, they will be incorporated into our new tub surround.

Very beautiful!I recently ordered this tile online and it arrived in about 4 days for store pick up. Although some tiles were cracked it did not effect the look or instillation. I used simple mat to put the tiles on the wall. Then after all the tiles were up, which took some time, I grouted using simple grout in the color linen. It was a sanded pre mixed grout that was recommended for use with the simple mat adhesive. Everything worked out fine. The tiles are thick and need to be cut with a wet saw. They are not the easiest to install because the ends are not even, like some of the more square designs that I didn't want. Anyways everything is done now and it looks great!

Beautiful tileSaw this tile online, not available in nearest store. The tile was beautiful and exactly as pictured. Will use this for my kitchen backsplash as soon as my project gets underway.

Beautiful backsplashLove this backsplash! It has a variety of textures and colors. It was priced higher than comparable products I looked at but I really liked the look.
