I bought this rug for the width of it, which is absolutely perfect for the space. But, I really like the flatness and texture of it also. It’s soft and stays in place. The color and design are very nice, too, subtle, but there.

Great rug, good color - has a bit of blue in the green. The patio table chairs slide easily on it...Great rug, good color - has a bit of blue in the green. The patio table chairs slide easily on it making getting in and out of the chairs at the table much easier. We haven't had them long but expectations are high that they will stand up well to the sun. I rated 4 stars because one of the rugs was raveling on the edge, and I didn't have time to replace it.

I love the design and look of this rug. However, I've had it on the floor for two days now and th...I love the design and look of this rug. However, I've had it on the floor for two days now and the ripples are not relaxing. It was worse when I first unrolled it. It wouldn't lay flat, especially at the corners. It has relaxed just a bit, but the ripples are still apparent and the corners still aren't laying flat. I bought this for a high-traffic area (room with french doors out to the backyard, and the room our two dogs stay during the day while we are at work). Since the rug is 100% polypropylene, it should stand up to the job, however, since it is made of a type of plastic, it makes it very stiff and difficult to smooth out the ripples from being rolled-up. I'm on the fence as whether I should return it, or give it more time to *hopefully* smooth out. I bought the 5 x 7 size. It definitely needs a rug pad underneath if using on a hardwood floor, as it doesn't have a backing on it.

This is my 5th "Persimmon" rug. I really like them a lot. Only 1 was purchased because its predec...This is my 5th "Persimmon" rug. I really like them a lot. Only 1 was purchased because its predecessor wore out, and that only after several years of hard service. I have only used these rugs indoors so I can't speak to their durability on a porch.
