The carpet is good. It just took a long time for the felt pad to come. I never was informed that it wasn't coming because it got lost. I had to call twice. Then they were sending it right away. It came but of course it was the wrong size. The order was written correctly but someone sent the wrong one. Another 4 days finally it came. It looks good but I wished Home Depot contacted me first.Emails were not correct. Waiting to ship. What?

Very thick and plush - all that is needed is a rug gripper or as I used, a carpet pad. Very pleasing to the eye, as well as underfoot. The colors are vibrant and beautiful, adding a lovely accent to our room. Definitely a quality rug, from a well known company. It has been resistant to stains and easy to keep clean with light vacuuming. An added bonus - this rug definitely updated our dining room!

This is a big and heavy rug - well made and the edges LAY DOWN FLAT!!! We immediately ordered a rug pad from the same company and that made a carpet that is so comfy you can almost sleep on it! Gosh, the corners actually laid down flat - big sign of a quality rug. My Grandson loved it and wants to sleep on it - with the rug pad it is that comfy. We just finished installing a Trafficmaster Allure flooring in barnwood and wanted to protect the finish. This rug not only protects it but is very beautiful. Everyone in our home loves it. I think this is the best rug we have ever owned. Got to go - want to walk barefooted on it - it is so comfy and thick! There ya go!

I like that this size is big enough to fit under the feet of my furniture, as I always had problems with my last rug skidding around. The rug came tightly rolled in a box, and when unrolled only took a few hours to flatten out. This size is not light though, so if you expect your cleaning crew to move it every time to vacuum underneath it will be a chore. The edges appear to be bound very well, which is where my last rug failed, as it came unraveled and just became a mess on the edge. The price for this rug is decent, but it is obviously a mass-produced product and isn't going to be the same as a custom hand-woven rug. But for someone like me with two dogs and two children I am not at the point where I want to spend a few thousand on a large area rug. Since this is 100% polyester it has been super easy to clean so far, including some 4 month old spit-up (unfortunately). It is soft enough to be comfortable on your feet, but isn't crazy soft like some cotton rugs.
The color varies considerably throughout the rug, it's not going to be a solid blue in each area but a nice variation of saturation. My attached pictures make the rug appear lighter than it is in person, it is darker like the product picture on the website.

One thing we didn't expect was that the rug is ever so slightly darker than it appeared on our computer monitor. The color is a mix between navy and dark violet with teal and a seafoam type color. It is slightly larger than the dimensions given at 8ft by 10ft 1/2 inch. I imagine it'll relax a little bit and elongate a little but not by much. It feels like a good quality thick weave. It's soft under foot and feels good to walk on. It has made our room so much more inviting and comfortable, but doesn't detract from the other decoration.

The colors are modern and bright, but the pattern is reminiscent of antique oriental rugs. It's a perfect complement to our gray and blue dining room. I love that this carpet has a no slip backing and sits well. It was a little wonky and uneven when we unrolled it (more than you would normally expect). Hopefully those kinks will work themselves out while it lays flat.
This is a great piece for anyone looking to infuse their decor with a bright color palette, while staying true to a more traditional decorating style.

What a nice touch for the front room. We had put laminate floors over the old floors in the house...What a nice touch for the front room. We had put laminate floors over the old floors in the house here and that was much better looking than the old butchered up floors. But something was lacking and this carpet is just the thing to liven up the whole room. The color is a perfect blend with the other colors in the room and it looks beautiful. It is also easy to get out of the house to clean when that becomes necessary. It's a winner!
