The Merola Tile Oxford Matte White with Black Dot 11-1/2 in. x 11-1/2 in. x 6 mm Porcelain Mosaic Tile is a great new addition to the Merola Tile line, with a traditional look that will fit within any design scheme. Featuring a soft matte finish on the white background and a glossy finish on the black diamonds, this mosaic tile has a mesh backing for easy installation and has a water absorption rating of less than 0.5%, making it ideal for use in moisture-heavy or even outdoor areas. Beautiful and unusual!I just had all my flooring replaced. I found this tile myself and had it installed - was going for that retro look and this was perfect for my little guest bathroom. Everyone who sees it comments on how different and beautiful it is. One thing I will say - I used white grout, which looks gorgeous but absolutely requires sealing - had that done by a professional with non-water-based sealant.

Great accent tile for the BBQ design!The blue diamond dot tile is laid as a stripe on the counter of the BBQ I designed for my husband. It's a great accent with the blue porcelain tile, the gray tile & the dark gray grout. It was a bit of a trick to lay it so that the surface of all of the tiles were level as this blue dot tile is so much thinner than the other porcelain tile. However, with a thin strip of 1/4 inch thick backer board under the blue dot tile the tile guy was able to make it work beautifully. ;-))

white is very white, returned due to color match problemhad to buy whole box altho all I needed was a sample. white is bright and too white for the room. will be returning this box and buying the smaller mosiac with the creamier white. ...of which I also had to buy a WHOLE box to see a sample. ps Burgundy and maroon are the same color!

Porcelain mosaic floor tile & installationThe tile looks lovely. The course at Home Depot was extremely helpful, especially Marilyn at the Columbia store. Mosaic tile does not lend itself to being cut with a wet-saw. All cuts need to be made with clippers -- a tedious & time-consuming task.

Check it out BEFORE you lay any of it and order twice as much as you need.We special ordered this tile and received it in less than a week, which was great. We ordered 5 boxes. We opened one, found 2 pieces were damaged in the white glaze. We opened a second one and found 5 of the 10 had glaze and glue issues. We decided we would not even check out the rest. We took it back, which they refunded our money with no problems or hassle. We purchased the stock, $2.59 white and black mosaic. We brought home several extra boxes and have found NO flaws at all in any of it. The old saying you get what you pay for is NOT true here. Check out the in stock Daltile, it's wonderful.
