Although this Polyester rug is recommended to have a rug gripper, I am happy to forgo this recommendation as the rug does not slide or shift like so many of other manufacturers of carpets I have owned. This rug lays flat within a few minutes of laying it out and although the thickness is less than half an inch, the pile feels much higher walking on it that gives the impression of `sinking` into the rug.
Initially I put it down on our hard wood floor and despite walking on it for most of the day; it did not slide at all. We then decided to lay it in the kitchen on tiles and again no movement and although we now have our Kitchen Island on it, we still have to decide its final resting place. The colors are vibrant and this rug was easy to clean after a mishap with some spots of tomato sauce being spilled. Using a soft damp cloth was all it took to leave it as new again.
It is contributing to being environmental friendly using up to 100% recycled content from plastic bottles. How they do this is a mystery to me but as a person who embraces recycling and especially plastic it’s got to be good for our planet. This traditional Persian design rug is worth every penny.

It is so beautiful and soft, it is hard to believe that it is almost 100% recycled plastic bottles. Yep, Eco friendly and a great area rug for any home. Our cats give it 2 paws up for comfort.
They call it Nuka brown which means it has brown in it and is patchwork of designs. The rug is dyed with long lasting shades of brown, blue and gray. It is stain-resistant and resits fading.
EverStrand recycled polyester fiber. Made with up to 100% recycled content from plastic bottles
The backing didn't slip on my vinyl floor but the instructions recommend that you lay it over a rug gripper because it extends the life of the rug, prevents shifting and sliding, and protects hardwood flooring from scratches.
They say it should not be dry cleaned.

You could see through the bag the great colors. I removed the plastic, unrolled and placed in a matter of minutes. No wrinkles or smell. This rug is absolutely beautiful and has colors I decorate with. You can not tell it is made from recycled plastic bottles. The rug is soft, good quality, seems durable, light weight and perfect for high traffic areas. Lovely color blends rich brown, blue, and grey. I probably will not need to put a rug gripper due to the size, it does not slide or move. Stays in place and will be easy to clean. Very Happy.

We had a room that we did half tile and half carpet, due to it being a transition area between rooms. We thought that the tile would take the traffic better, which it does, but it is not comfortable for the grandkids when they are here. This also serves as a play room and this rug works out great for that space. As I said, it is very soft and plush and if you add a carpet pad, it is even softer yet.
One thing that I like over previous rugs we have had is that this one can be cleaned with mild detergent and water. It can be, but doesn’t have to be, professionally cleaned. The colors on this are nice and will go with about anything. It’s a great fix for our tiled area.

The room truly came to life with this rug. I absolutely LOVE the pattern design and the intense, vibrant colors. The design is a lovely blend of shapes and colors that immediately appealed to my senses because I am more of a paisley, earth and water tones type of consumer. I love the sophistication of the various tones in this carpet. No doubt this design was created from the heart of an artist and we are now kindred spirits when it comes to this carpet.
The quality speaks for itself and the plush feel of the carpet underfoot is extremely obvious when you are privileged to walk on it. You can feel the depth of the lush fibers with every step. Needless to say, the price for this carpet is definitely reasonable for the value you receive. This is a quality rug that is ‘exceptional’ and it really did exceed my expectations when it arrived.
The rug rolled nicely out of the package and there were no chemical odors whatsoever. I am very pleased with this purchase and I highly recommend this stain resistant Mohawk Home carpet based on the great experience I have had with this carpet. I can honestly say, welcome home Mohawk Homes Nuka carpet because you truly are a joy to behold. I tried to upload a picture but my jpg was too large.

It is a very well made rug. A very nice Persian design and somewhat abstract figures. It is very ...It is a very well made rug. A very nice Persian design and somewhat abstract figures. It is very soft to touch and sit on it. Also, what is very important to us, it is made out of recycled bottles and it means 100% environment friendly. This rug is a very beautiful addition to any room and we have it at our guest bedroom.
It needs to be vacuumed and not dry cleaned, which is saves a lot of hassle and money.
We are very happy with this rug and would recommend it to everyone.

I have a screen-in porch and wanted a rug that would help keep the floor area warmer and look bet...I have a screen-in porch and wanted a rug that would help keep the floor area warmer and look better than the wood flooring. This rug is doing the job. It is large enough to cover the area I wanted yet it is not getting damaged by the weather since it is under a roof and completely covered. It is soft to the touch, rolled out and set easily with no curling and is holding up well. I am very satisfied.

It was delivered rolled up in a very heavy duty plastic bag. I placed it in my living room in front of my loveseat. When I rolled it out it laid down flat with no problems. It has a beautiful design with great colors. I was amazed that it felt so soft to walk on. I have it on top of carpet and it will not slide at all. Love it.
