Like many other reviews, I was skeptical about these tiles but so glad that I purchased them. Let me say this...if you know for sure that you want genuine tiles in your home, then that's what you should go for. These tiles can't replace genuine tiles BUT they are an attractive affordable alternative. I absolutely love the way they transformed my small condo kitchen. I have no handyman skills and hiring someone to install real tiles was cost prohibitive for me at this time.
If you decide to try these as others have noted, set aside time, be patient, use a ruler, level, and good scissors or utility knife. I preferred scissors. It was very easy to cut around outlets although I made a rule to measure, measure again, and again if needed before cutting. Make sure your walls are clean as well. If you go to the Smart Tiles website, their calculator is awesome! I rounded up to any measurement over half and I purchased the correct amount with a few left over for a future repairs if needed. They are practical and good-looking so I have no problem with them not being real tiles.

This is my second project using Smart tiles. I find them easy to use and for the dollar they make a difference quickly. I have laid real tile, this is much simpler.
Be willing to measure, use a level and preplan your lay out. I find once the tiles are stuck to the wall THEN I see my layout flaws so step back from your project every now and then. Also keep your cutting knife sharp for clean edges, I use a utility knife and a wooden cutting board. I switched blades about 6 times for 24 tiles.
I used the tiles as a backsplash behind a bathroom vanity and then cut long strips to trim around a shower stall to match. This was a small bathroom makeover, the tile work took one evening and the better part of a full day from start to finish. I also recommend watching the YouTube video for a starting point.

We stuck the tacky tile right over the laminate backsplash of the 1970’s to give a new modern look. My mom loves the transformation and the new modern look. The cost is high for the tacky sticky tiles but fairly easy to lay if you only expose a small portion first and attach to the back wall

Easy to apply and looks good
I bought this stick and peel tile for behind my bathroom sink. I'm overwhelmed with projects and didn't want the hassle of going through the tiling process (and I don't have that experience anyway), but I wanted a colorful backsplash to pull together the various colors in my bathroom.
The whole process took me no more than 45 minutes and the overall look is great. I used regular scissors to cut to size and stuck on, just as directed. Although it sticks hard, you can readjust if needed. My only complaint would be, because it's vinyl, it's flat and doesn't have the natural raised look of tile. It may seem a bit flimsy when you first get it, but I really am pleased with the overall look and have gotten compliments from others. Although I own my house, I think this would also be a great option for renters wanting to upgrade without spending a ton. I'm really happy with the overall look and cost.

Reasonably inexpensive when compared to the alternative and fairly easy to install. Looks very good from a reasonable distance that you have most of the time (on the back side of the counter). Very pleased with the results.

These tiles went on very easily and most of them stuck well. We put them in our RV but several bubbled. We live in and area of high heat and kind of expected this. Most would not have bubbled. We would use this product again.
