Nice less expensive option, BUT...
The good: I wanted to do a half-round border in my shower, and I was amazed to find out how expensive liner tiles are. These were the cheapest option I could find after much searching. The estimated arrival date was 10 days out, I was extremely pleased when they were delivered the day after I ordered them, and they have the look I wanted. They are a very bright gloss white. Some people have complained about the color match, but since I am using them with matte white tiles from another source an exact match wasn't crucial.
The not so good: I had to go through all the tiles and clean them to separate the good from the bad. Out of the 100 tiles I ordered, 34 were scratched or otherwise unacceptable. Several more were chipped on an end, but since a few were going to be cut anyway so I kept those ones. They were packed well, it did not seem like they were damaged in shipping, it seems like poor quality control during manufacturing and storage. Also, they vary in width, by a little over a 1/16th of an inch from the widest to the narrowest. ALSO, the arched profile is not always centered, so sometimes there is a bigger lip on one side. The variations are manageable, as long as the opposites are not placed side by side. So I also need to go through and classify and mark every tile and where it goes in the layout.
Fortunately, I can just bring all the defective ones back to the Home Depot down the street. I reordered twice as many as I need to make sure I get enough usable ones to replace them. But then I can just return all those extra rejects too. So, while all this trouble is worth it to me to save $200 and have them look good, be prepared. If I had looked at one tile and come back after the contractor had installed them out of the box I would have been beyond furious. They are not installed yet, hoping there will be no further problems.
