Featuring compositions of painted woods faded by time, the Merola Tile Melvin Color 2-7/8 in. x 26-1/2 in. Porcelain Floor and Wall Tile reflects the rustic appearance of barn wood. These elongated planks feature a textured medium sheen finish in varying distressed colors, including shades of browns, greens and grays with meticulous wood grains. To add further contrast and depth, this tile has subtle bumps and grooves that echo the texture of real wood. The finishing touch on this plank is the imitations of scuffs and spots, which gives this tile an antiquated appearance reminiscent of distressed painted wood. There are 90 different variations of wood grains and distressed markings, offering a look that is completely your own. Designed by interior architect and furniture designer Francisco Segarra, this tile is a true reflection of vintage industrial design. I have just picked up my order of this tile and was anxious to see the coloring in person. I was disappointed with my initial look through five of my nine boxes. I will say the overall coloring does not look like the photo on here. It seems to be mostly peachy brown and beige and browns. There was only 1-2 of the black colored tiles, in the five boxes I looked through. There were about 4-5 of the bluish tiles. AND on my computer a lot of the tiles in the photo look greenish. There is definitely NO green toned tiles at all. If you are hoping for a look like this photo, be prepared to buy at least twice as much as you need, and sort through them. I'll post a finished photo when we are done.
