The Greecian White Octagon Honed Marble Mesh-Mounted Mosaic Tile from MSI is crafted from natural stone marble that evokes an aesthetic of classical romance. Its smooth, polished surface and soft white tones will upgrade any room of your home in timeless style. With a large selection of sizes and accessories to choose from, Greecian White can easily be laid in a pattern or single layout, and this particular marble is suitable for residential and commercial installations, including kitchens and bathrooms. Note: Please inspect all tiles before installation. Natural stone products inherently lack uniformity and are subject to variation in color, shade, finish, etc. It is recommended to blend tiles from different boxes when installing. Natural stones may be characterized by dry seams and pits that are often filled. The filling can work its way out and it may be necessary to refill these voids as part of a normal maintenance procedure. All natural stone products should be sealed with a penetrating sealer. After installation, vendor disclaims any liabilities.

Nice looking productI installed this tile in my laundry room. It was my first time tiling, so I learned a lot! The end product looks really good--a classic and cheerful look. I went back and forth trying to decide between sanded and nonsanded grout. I ended up using sanded with latex additive due to the 1/8" gaps between the tiles and because I was worried about strength (it's a high vibration area due to our enthusiastic front-loading washing machine). I didn't notice any problems with the sanded grout scratching the finish (it's a honed rather than highly polished finish). This tile was also easy to cut using a wet saw, which I had never used before. Two things to note about appearance--this stone is on the soft side, so you may notice some "natural" looking edges on the tiles. Also, some of the tiles have shades of yellow and blue. I really like this look, but be prepared for the color not to be totally uniform.

Gorgeous Floor! Takes LOTS of Grout!Floor is simply beautiful. The tile is quite thick and there are a lot of places for grout - so be prepared because it takes a LOT! Worth it though....it's beautiful!

In choosing what color grout to use, I decided on something in a white range (black or grey look good but would have made it a bit too busy for my small space). Even the contractor commented that this was one of the best looking he’s installed. I paired it with wall tiles that look like small versions of subway tiles, and used a soft grey grout that picks up the light grey in the mosaic tiles on the floor.

Proceed with Caution1) I recommend installing this on the diagonal. Makes a huge difference & the impact to the overage is minimal. 2) make sure the the sub floor is level. 3) have it installed by someone who's used to mosaic tile & experienced in natural tile. 4) I recommend sealing the tile before grouting.

AwesomeWe used 6 sheets of this tile (12 x 12 mesh mounted) above our stove surrounded with greecian white marble pencil and greecian white marble 6 x 6 tiles. It looks amazing and we love it. Grout is bright white unsanded.

Love It!We originally planned on buying the marble black and white weave pattern that Home Depot carries, but for one-third less, the octagon design was the practical choice... Our house was built in the 1950s and it is a classic design that will never look outdated. We are very happy with it! Also, we used charcoal grout which never looks dirty! We've received many compliments on this choice of tile.

Beautiful TileWe purchased this tile for our guest bath. It is beautiful! We origianal found it in a tile store for a much higher price, then found it on-line at the Home Depot and ordered it and was very pleasantly surprised how beautifully it turned out.
