The tile that ties...Decorative tile can either solve or create problems. In this case the Carano decorative tile helped me tie together different sizes and shades of tiles and delineate a nice box border on the bathroom floor. While the sand-colored 12"x12" tiles were bought on sale, the price of decorative tile did put me over the budget on this floor, but all the complements received from folks who've seen it have partly reduced that sting. Be sure to check for color compatibility of your tiles in various lighting conditions. We used "Antique Linen" as the color for the grout on the finished product, but that will depend on what other colors of tile you use.

This is a tile you can be creative with. The edges are a lot whiter than shown in the picture. ...This is a tile you can be creative with. The edges are a lot whiter than shown in the picture. We bought this to put up in a bathroom where we felt the tile was too dark and took these apart to set in where we removed some of the dark tiles, then we made a border out of these around the top of the tub surround. The bathtub wall now looks like a spa bathroom. If you would like to see a better picture contact me as this site doesn't allow for the full picture to post.

Best accent piece! A Home Run!!This backsplash is one of our best update choices to date. It added the right amount of "bling" that ties in the rest of the color choices in our guest bath. Recommend a light to medium color grout so the lighter stone tiles don't darken the way ours did. It's not really noticeable to the average user, but to US it was, but have since become used to it.

Beautiful accent tileThis tile comes on a mesh backing. In about half of the tile groups the backing needed trimming before installation. Some tiles were not well stuck to the backing and required careful handling so they wouldn't slide out of place. The end result is beautiful if you have some tile setting experience. Tiles cut well with a tile nipper but are a bit tricky on a wet saw. The travertine portions can be hard to clean. To maintain the appearance of the travertine be careful not to let your grout sit too long before wiping or it will fill the holes in the marble.

tile was nice size, great color blend; border was a nice accentThe tile and border has made the house look new again. The color blend was perfect as was the border and blended well with the existing tile. The service was excellent. Each person we came in contact with was knowledgeable and able to answer any questions we had. The people at the front desk and check out counter were professional yet friendly. I had to order some of the border on-line and that went very smoothly as well. WELL DONE HOME DEPOT!!
