Excellent product!
This product is as easy to use as they say it is. You can easily cut it with a scissors, and once you peel off the backing it sticks really well. I also saved the backing sheets from the first few tiles so that I could use those as a sort of template for cutting around outlets, and that worked like a charm.
It really looks good on the wall, and my kitchen is getting nothing but compliments since I installed it. Well, I also painted the cabinets, put on new hardware, added under cabinet lighting, and installed a new tile floor, but the backsplash gets the most compliments.
I ordered it online since my local Home Depot didn't have it in stock, and it arrived safe and sound 3 days after ordering, as promised.
If you're like me (really not handy), you owe it to yourself to just try this stuff and follow the instructions, and you'll find that you can do more than you think you can. My friends and neighbors think I should do remodeling on the side now! I still consider myself a beginner at it.

I can't endore these enough!
Comparing the cost of a "typical" tile job to Smart Tiles, there is an obvious benefit. I was hesitant to buy gel - like sticky paper tile, but didn't want to spend a lot of money, so I ordered them just "to see". Before even applying them I was impressed. And since the application I have gotten nothing but complements and no one can initially believe they are simply peel and stick sheets. Fantastic product.
TIPS: thoroughly pre-plan your placement. The considering this products over laps each other, the first two tiles I placed I didn't account for the over lap, and while they are easy to remove with a hair dryer, you lose that tile you remove. So plan ahead.
Another awesome thing. I recently showed my new bathroom to a friend, told her about Smart Tiles ad she immediately started looking for the seems of the sheets. I installed the tiles an still have a hard time tryin to find the seems.
I will be goin back to Smart Tiles when I refresh my kitchen decor.

Very Pleased
We decided to put up Smart Tiles instead of installing ceramic tiles for convenience and simplicity. We are very pleased with the finished product. They were simple to install and the project was fully completed in about 2 hours by one person. If you are up close and are looking for the seams, you will find them. However, the average person just looking at the wall has not been able to see them. Everyone has loved the finished product and two family members are purchasing some for themselves. We have had no issues with tiles pealing off. The price is probably a little high considering that the tiles are some type of flexible plastic that are very, very thin. I can't imagine that production costs are high at all. The convenience and simplicity made the cost worth it though. I would recommend the tiles for anyone wanting a quick and easy makeover without the frustration and cost of installing actual tiles.

Product very nice for RV applications.
I installed the tiles on the bathroom backsplash in our RV. They are lightweight, very easy to install, even though the directions are not all that complete. I read other reviews and started on one edge making sure to keep all tiles in the same direction. I trimmed the tabs off the left edge so start the layout. The matching overlap was very easy with the tabs of tiles. I also purchased the box cutter recommended and it helped with the straight flat cuts. Cutting small pieces to fit in unique corners was easy with a sturdy pair of scissors. Peeling off the backing was easy once you got a corner started. I peeled off a section from the back and used the portion still having backing to position the sticky tiles in place, then pulled off remaining backing and pressed smoothly with a towel. I like the professional look of the tiles and it only took me a couple of hours to do this project. I ordered 2 packets online and tiles came quickly in a big manilla envelope.

Beautiful product to add value to your home!
I ordered these products over the summer & installed them as a backsplash in my kitchen. It only took about 8 hrs to fully install everything, granted I had a window & about 6 outlets to cut around. I measured my area exactly and ordered just the right amount of tiles with very little scraps leftover! These are so easy to work with and look like real tile. Everyone that has come into our home has complimented us on it!!!! They are shocked when we tell them they're not real tiles! Until you get up close to see how thin they are, you wouldn't notice the difference.
I much prefer this product over the strenuous task of grouting and cutting glass tile. I highly recommend this product to any DIY person that has patience and can be very articulate with placement of the tiles and cutting around outlets. I know I will definitely use this again for future products!

Looks real and adds pop to backsplash
Upon receiving the tiles, you may think, "this is it?" However, once you start to get them up onto the wall and take a step back I think anyone would be pleasantly surprised. They have really changed my kitchen, balancing great with our granite countertop. I am not super handy, nor super patient, nor super artsy, yet have been able to manage with a tape measure, ruler, utility knife, and screwdriver. If you want clean edges, make sure the utility blade is new, hold the ruler down and use its edge to maintain your cut. I marked the tiles with a fine tip marker (rubs off if you need, since the tiles are a vinyl material). The hardest part is fitting around all of the outlets and light switches, window frame, etc. Take the covers off when you measure for the outlets, etc. The hardest part is just working in tight spaces, making them fit together level so that you don't see seams. All in all, I would buy a couple extra squares then you think you will need in preparation for mess ups. I am about 80-90% done now and ran out because several get primarily wasted due to specific cuts you will need. So far, the look is great though, my wife really likes it and I never even asked for her permission to do this :)

I love leaving, turning around and coming back into the kitchen. easy apply, I attended a class at Home Depot on backsplash, had a ball, met a new friend, now every time I go to home depot, I look for George and am help right away.
