Decent tile.MAIN ISSUE:The glaze does not cover down around the sides of the tile so it's not ideal for any shower or backsplash where water will be often. The water can seep into the tile and discolor it.

New bathI used this wall trim on my wall to replace the base board. I used bright white grout on the wall tile. I also used the coordinating floor tile Merola Twenties Classic ceramic tile and used charcoal grout for the floor tiles. It looks very nice together

Product is nice looking from the front, and it is hard to find a matte finish base tile, but the ...Product is nice looking from the front, and it is hard to find a matte finish base tile, but the top edge of this product is unfinished, so it would work on an application in which you add flat tiles above these base tiles, or you will need to paint/caulk the top edge of the tile for a finished look. The base trim is also about an inch shorter than typical cove base used in bathrooms, so if you are replacing old base cove tiles, you will need to do some drywall patching prior to installing these as they will not cover the old work.

We installed these tiles as a bathroom baseboard with Merola white 2" hex tiles, and also as a ba...We installed these tiles as a bathroom baseboard with Merola white 2" hex tiles, and also as a backsplash for our white quartz vanity top. The horizontal groove is much less noticeable on the actual tiles than in the product picture. It would be nice if Merola made these trim tiles match the color of their floor tiles. It would also be nice if they made a vitreous porcelain version of the trim tiles for bathroom use--these ones are nonvitreous and water-absorbent, so Home Depot doesn't recommend them for wet spaces such as bathrooms. Hopefully that won't be a problem.

It is hard to find wall trim for tile in matte finish which is why I purchased this one. It does ...It is hard to find wall trim for tile in matte finish which is why I purchased this one. It does look nice, however, the top of the tile is not covered completely with paint leaving the terra cotta color of the tile showing. I think I can touch it up myself with either paint or caulk, just a little disappointing.
