Good product, terrible shipping / packaging. I ordered this product to use in a garage and HD was one of the few companies I knew that offered the 6" version via on line ordering (no local stores had in stock).
The cove base seems to be a high quality with good flexibility (since a rubber mix not all vinyl). The 700 series is more expensive than the all vinyl version but I feel was a higher quality and a good mid point between the vinyl and pinnacle lines.
I applied with the trowel on cove base using a notched trowel without any issues. Base adhered well, easy to form outside corners and looks good. Color description is black-brown but has a more grey color than brown-tint which I wanted. A better alternative to pitch black.
My issue is with the means of shipping - the item was direct shipped from Roppe. My first delivery was damaged in shipping and never delivered (while out for delivery). I had to argue with HD to receive an immediate refund rather than waiting for the damaged item to return to Roppe and be processed. My replacement order arrived on time (after missing my initial deadline to complete the project) but the 30 pieces were what appeared to be folded and placed in a too large a box that was too flimsy and could not hold the weight. It barely arrived at my front door and when I attempted to pick the box up it gave the rest of the way - no wonder UPS damaged the first item in shipping. You cant damage the cove base but I expect my first damaged shipment box fell apart as well and the material was partially lost. HD needs to work with Roppe on acceptable packaging.

High Quality Cove Base. Great color. Towards Charcoal.This is a high quality Cove Base just shy of 6" tall. Good for commercial applications. The color is great if you want something between Jet Black and Brown. Works well with browns or just about any color since it is towards black. Cuts well and is stiff enough to set the first time with three strips of adhesive caulk. The price is very good for 6" which is difficult to find on the shelf almost anywhere. The box weighs 65 lbs.
