Finish is very nice, not overly bright, but not dark either. This is just the right size to place under my range hood and hang down far enough to address the heat coming from the oven. I recommend purchase; I would buy it again.

Exactly what we wantedThis is a really nice looking piece. High quality stainless and installed very easily. We haven't yet had a chance to cook in front of this thing, but a 36" Wolf six burner should be able to really test out the quality and clean-ability.
