This product changed the entire look of my kitchen!
After discussing a reasonably inexpensive way to modernize the outdated backsplash tiles in our kitchen, my husband and I decided upon installing the "oil-rubbed bronze" look tin tile sheets. The transformation was dramatic! Everyone whom has visited our home was immediately impressed and inquiring about that product for their own use in their home. This product was very easy to install and very user-friendly to customize. Again, the transformation is absolutely amazing! We had tried some average household kitchen sanitizing degreasing sprays that anyone would have in their kitchen cleaning products on the tiles before we installed them. They work great. Give a spritz of some windex for extra shine and this product is way easier to clean than the tiles we had originally! We just applied it overtop of the original tile surface and it was easy to apply. We are very pleased and impressed with this easy to install, inexpensive way to dramatically update the look of your kitchen! Thank you Home Depot!

Easy & inexpensive way to refresh an ugly backsplash
I have used these panels at 2 homes now in the kitchen as an easy and inexpensive way to refresh the backsplash. The new house needs a new kitchen but that's a few years away and I needed to cover up the current ugly tile backsplash right away. With a few hours, no demo of the tile underneath and basic tools (scissors, measuring tape & caulk gun) my old backsplash was transformed!
It's important to plan the area before you start cutting & also realize that the underside of the cabinets probably aren't square/even so a cardboard template can be helpful. Since I've used both now, I think that using the loctite adhesive to stick the tiles to the wall gives you a nicer final look than the double sided tape.

A few challenges, but beautiful.
I used these as a border in my bathroom, and they were relatively easy to put up. If you don't live 5 minutes away from a Home Depot that has all the accessories in stock, go ahead and order everything you might need, then return what you don't. I made 4 trips in 12 hours - to pick up the tiles & tape, to get adhesive because the tape didn't work, to get j-trim pieces because the panels weren't quite as easy to cut as I hoped and I had to disguise some ragged edges, and to get corner trim pieces because I realized that would finish out the look. I had a party a couple of weeks after completing the project and got lots of compliments. [I don't know why the photo is uploading sideways - sorry!]

Great Product!
I installed this product and it looks great. It took about 3 1/2 hours due to needing to cut it to fit the area I was working with. I would recommend that you paint under the cabinets and over the counter with the darkest color in the backsplash as the directions suggest. This will ensure that you don't have any obvious spaces showing in the event you cutting is a little uneven. I used the polyurethane adhesive instead of the double sided tape. It holds great! Overall I'm very satisfied with the product and the installation was not complicated. I would recommend this to any one looking to update the look of their kitchen!

use caulk
use adhesive caulk as the tape they sell for them does not hold long. other then that they are a great look for our tray ceiling in the kitchen.

This stuff is not the easiest to work with but the results are soooo worth it! I bought the matte white. I absolutely love it. My new kitchen is so gorgeous now. Some tips... buy a pair of tin snips if you are going to be cutting very much of it. I had blisters before I finished. We tried tin snips right before we finished and I couldn't believe what a difference that made. Cut like butter. (I had been using scissors). Many of the reviews I read said they had trouble getting it to stay up. We just used whatever the stuff is you use to put up ceramic tile. Worked like a charm. I highly recommend this product.

Great Idea!
I was tired of trying to wipe or scrub splatter of my walls and had been wanting a back splash in my kitchen for a long time. My brother-in-law put this up in their kitchen when they did a remodel and I liked it a lot. I decided to check into it. The panels are made of plastic although they look metallic. You have to touch it to believe it is not. Each panel is sold separately, which really adds up if you have a lot of wall space to cover. I decided to go for it anyway. I chose the design I wanted and bought the sliders for the corner and ends. I cut out all the holes for the outlet covers, switch plates, etc. . . by making a template out of paper and drawing it onto the back of the panel with a marker. I used some good, solid kitchen shears to do the cutting. I would NOT recommend using an exacto knife; it has the tendency to slip, or cut too far. I used masking taped to put up the panels where I wanted them to go after I had the openings cut out to make sure everything fit properly. My teenage sons actually installed them for me using the caulk. I turned out wonderful! Not only can I wipe the back splash down for easy clean up, it looks fantastic. It is exactly what I wanted.
